Beta access
Apply for the Copyeditor beta.
We’re onboarding deliberately, starting with students and researchers. Tell us what you write and we’ll reach out as spots open. Beta members get founding-member access.
No false urgency. We read every application and onboard in batches.
WHO WE’RE ONBOARDING
Students and researchers, first
Educators and professional editors are welcome too — we’ll grow the table from there.
PhD students
Writing a dissertation, papers, or reviewer responses, and tired of moving text between five tools to keep citations intact.
Researchers
Taking a manuscript from literature to submission, with a reference library that should follow the document — not break at every hand-off.
Educators & editors
Curious how governable, optional AI and a documented writing process fit your courses or your editing practice.
HOW IT WORKS
Three steps, no lottery
Apply
Tell us who you are and what you write. We read every application — there’s no waitlist lottery, just careful onboarding.
We reach out
As spots open, we invite students and researchers first. You’ll get access details and a quick way to get started.
Found a member
Beta members keep founding-member pricing as the product grows. Your feedback shapes what we build next.

Beta questions
How much does the beta cost?
You can start free. Paid plans are available, and beta members get founding-member access — early pricing we honor as the product grows.
When will I hear back?
We onboard in batches, students and researchers first. We don’t use false urgency — there are no “3 spots left” countdowns. We reach out as capacity opens.
What do I get during the beta?
The full academic workspace — structured drafting, citations, paraphrase, originality preview, export — plus a direct line to the team building it.
